Brian L. Jessie is in his 4th year as assistant principal at GPHS.  This is his 26th year in education, with the last fourteen years in the Sevier County School System. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from East Tennessee State University, a Masters of Education (Educational Leadership) from Northcentral University, and an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. He was previously Head Coach for football and basketball at Union County High School, Head Coach for basketball at Seymour High School, and Head Coach for basketball at Pigeon Forge High School. Mr. Jessie is married to Phyllis Jessie. They have two daughters (son-in-laws), Sarah Dixon (Cody) and Leslie Kandel (Isaac) and 3 grandchildren.
