Student Art on Display at Arrowmont

On Friday evening Arrowmont hosted a reception for their Student Art Competition. Two art students from Gatlinburg-Pittman were honored with awards. Amberlynn Greer received a Judge's Choice Award and a cash prize of $100.00 for her oil painting entitled, "A Mother's Love".  Olivia Kittredge was honored with the Poster Award. Her reduction technique linoleum block print entitled, "Floating Through Life" will appear on posters for the next competition.  The exhibit of student art from all across the county will be on display at Arrowmont through this Friday, February 14.
